The bookclub facilitators are writer and publisher Cheryl Robson and bookseller Bushra Mustafa-Dunne.

About

Cheryl Robson is best-known for her successful campaign to erect the new bronze statue of Virginia Woolf in Richmond. She is the publisher at award-winning indie publisher, Aurora Metro & Supernova Books and has published over 300 writers, with work translated from over 20 languages (www.aurorametro.com). She is also an award-winning writer and filmmaker and the owner of a new bookshop offering diverse, contemporary fiction in Richmond (www.cherylrobson.net). She was a finalist in 2022 for the itv National Diversity Entrepeneur award.

Bushra Mustafa-Dunne is an experienced bookseller at Books on the Rise in Richmond, and an emerging writer. Some of her favourite writers are Sheila Heti, Clarice Lispector, Haifa Zangana, and Amitav Ghosh. Her writing has been published in A Kaleidoscope of Stories: Muslim Voices in Contemporary Poetry, and Alchemiya Journal, and is primarily concerned with diaspora, spirituality, ecology, and their intersections.
