We’re hosting a talk to launch a new book about music impresario Giorgio Gomelsky, who kicked off the careers of the Rolling Stones and The Yardbirds. It’s the first biography about Gomelsky – a band manager at the centre of the counterculture in 60s London, and is written by his close friend Francis Dumaurier who we’ll be interviewing at the event. Dumaurier recounts his friends Gromelsky’s love of life, his dynamism, and the creativity that made him “push the envelope”. With a keen eye for talent, Gromelsky’s ideas helped shape the rock music we know and love today – acting as a catalyst for change and revolution.
