Live discussion and Booklaunch 50 WOMEN IN THEATRE

50 Women In Theatre is a new book which celebrates early female pioneers and legends through to the rule breakers and women in theatre today.

This exclusive launch event features five of the book’s contributors in a lively discussion on how to rebuild a new kind of theatre with cultural equity, diversity, and a level playing field for all.

Panellists include Shakespeare’s Globe Artistic Director Michelle Terry, founder of Blackstage UK Gabrielle Brooks, award-winning playwright Bryony Lavery, and Artistic Director of New Earth Theatre Kumiko Mendl. The event is chaired by Dr Susan Croft, writer and curator of Unfinished Histories.
