Writers & Readers In Conversation with Dawn Goodwin

June 27, 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm

Have you ever aspired to write a book or become an author? Do you just love reading? Then the Writers & Readers events are perfect for you.

In cosy, informal settings, crime fiction author Alice Clark Platts will be in conversation with Dawn Goodwin. She’ll talk to them about their writing process, how they got started, their inspirations, techniques, characters and plots – and of course to field questions from the audience.

About Dawn Goodwin:

Dawn’s career has spanned PR, advertising and publishing both in London and Johannesburg. A graduate of the Curtis Brown creative writing school, she loves to write about the personalities hiding behind the masks we wear every day, whether beautiful or ugly.

Now a company director and author of bestselling domestic noir fiction, what spare time she has is spent chasing good intentions, contemplating how to get away with the perfect murder and immersing herself in fictitious worlds. She lives in London with her husband, two daughters and British bulldogs Geoffrey and Luna.

About Writers & Readers events:

Writers & Readers was set up by best-selling author Alice Clark-Platts and journalist and podcaster Marcus Railton to foster an inclusive space in which readers, aspiring writers; and established authors can come together to educate, entertain, and share ideas.

As well as in person talks and interviews, Writers & Readers events are recorded, edited, and uploaded to all major podcast platforms as the Writers & Readers Podcast.
