Ian Alexander writes the ObsessedByNature blog and has written for the London Wildlife Trust. His book “An English Love Affair with Nature” tells the story of the English people’s long, tangled and passionate romance, how we fell in love, and why we are still obsessed by nature.
Reviews of Ian’s book:
“This book offers a delightful journey around the British imagination, with unexpected and thoughtful observations revealed in every passing meadow and hedge. I have really enjoyed reading this – Ian Alexander writes beautifully, and the book has an impressive scope.” –Bill Adams, Moran Professor of Conservation and Development at University of Cambridge

Susanne Masters
Susanne has written about culture and the outdoors intersecting around the world for publications including Guardian newspaper, The New York Times, BBC Travel, BBC Earth, BBC Countryfile, BBC Wildlife, Red Bull Adventure, Outdoor Swimmer, Distiller ….. some examples are below, also see my wildlife column and features on orchids.
Her book Wild Waters: a wildlife and water lover’s companion to the aquatic world is about wild swimming and having an awareness of wildlife.
A Review of Susanne’s book:
“This is a book for those who like swimming in the sea, lakes and rivers and might be interested in the wildlife that they come across, rather than a guide to aquatic life for the naturalist. On that basis I think it does a good job and works well. For those who plunge literally headlong into the water but want to dip their toe figuratively into wildlife then this is a gentle, coaxing and accessible introduction.” — by Mark Avery, RSPB Conservation Director[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
